# Data Safety

Hearty Journal is hosted on both two leading providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud to ensure the highest level of security and stability for the service. 

We store multiple, redundant, encrypted copies of your information in two different regions (Tokyo, Japan & The Dalles, Oregon, USA), so you don’t have to worry about ever losing your data. Moreover, we do daily backups of the user data, and weekly snapshots of the entire system. 

One more thing, all connections are encrypted via TLS 1.3 - technology designed for online banking, when you're using Hearty Journal on any of your devices.

Hearty Creative Inc. owns or controls access to the infrastructure that Hearty Journal uses to host and process data submitted to the services. Currently, the Hearty Journal production systems used for hosting data for the services are located in co-location facilities in Taiwan, Japan, USA and Europe.
